Every figure on this page links to the platform’s own page and was checked on 29 October 2026. Earnings depend on your skill, your hours and your clients, so this guide does not quote typical monthly incomes. It shows who accepts people living in Pakistan, how the money reaches a Pakistani account and what each platform takes.
Receive USD from clients: Payoneer
Wise does not offer USD account details to residents of Pakistan (Wise Help Centre, checked October 2026). Payoneer offers USD receiving accounts and withdrawals in PKR to a local bank account. Check current fees on Payoneer's website.
Open a Payoneer account →AdWhich earning apps work for people in Pakistan?
Of the 12 options checked, six have a published route for people in Pakistan: Fiverr, Upwork and the YouTube Partner Program are ways to earn, while JazzCash, Easypaisa and PSEB registration are tools you need around the earning. The other six either could not be confirmed for Pakistan or exclude it; they are listed further down.
Checked 29 October 2026 against each platform’s own pages.
| Option | Open to people in Pakistan? | How the money reaches Pakistan | What it takes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Fiverr | Payout route published | Bank transfer or account through Payoneer | 20% of each order |
| Upwork | Pakistan (PKR) is on the bank-withdrawal list | Direct to Local Bank in PKR | 0% to 15% per contract |
| YouTube Partner Program | Pakistan is on the country list | Through AdSense | 1,000 subscribers plus 4,000 watch hours in 12 months, or 10 million Shorts views in 90 days |
| JazzCash | Wallet, not an earning app | PKR wallet that receives international freelance payments | Balance limit by account type |
| Easypaisa | Wallet, not an earning app | PKR wallet that receives remittances | Limits by account level |
| PSEB registration | Registration, not a payout channel | Not a payout channel | Charges shown in the PSEB portal |
The recommendation: if you have a skill, start with Fiverr or Upwork, because both publish how your earnings reach a Pakistani bank. Use JazzCash or Easypaisa for local payments and for receiving remittances.
How much do Fiverr and Upwork take from your earnings?
Fiverr takes 20%: after an order is completed, freelancers receive 80% of the client’s cleared payment, and funds sit through a 14-day clearing period before they can be withdrawn. Top Rated and Fiverr Pro freelancers get a shorter period (Fiverr Help Centre, checked 29 October 2026). On a US$100 order you receive US$80 at that 2026 fee.
Upwork charges 0% to 15% per contract. You see the percentage in the offer or in your proposal before you accept, and once the contract begins the fee is fixed and does not change (Upwork Help Centre, checked 29 October 2026). On a US$100 contract at a 10% fee you receive US$90; the 10% is only a 2026 example, not Upwork’s average.
To get started on Fiverr, open an account, write a clear profile and add 3 to 5 portfolio samples. On Upwork, complete your profile before you send proposals.
Which pays better depends on your skill and clients, not on the platform. Fiverr is built around fixed-price services (gigs), while Upwork’s help centre describes payment protection for both hourly and fixed-price contracts, so it also suits longer work paid by the hour.
How does Fiverr or Upwork money reach a Pakistani bank account?
Checked 29 October 2026.
| Route | Fee | Minimum | Source |
|---|---|---|---|
| Fiverr, bank transfer via Payoneer (local currency in 1 to 3 business days) | US$1 | US$20 | Fiverr payout methods |
| Fiverr, to a Payoneer account | US$3 | US$10 | Fiverr payout methods |
| Upwork, Direct to Local Bank (PKR) | US$0.99 per withdrawal | not stated | Upwork Help Centre |
Upwork cannot accommodate company registrations for PKR bank accounts, so use a personal account; a company account may cause failed withdrawals. For security, a new withdrawal method becomes active three days after you set it up, and withdrawals should then arrive within four days; if one does not, contact your bank (Upwork Help Centre). Upwork also pays directly to JazzCash, Easypaisa, NayaPay, SadaPay and Finja; the fee varies by wallet (Upwork Help Centre, checked 4 November 2026). Fiverr allows withdrawals of up to US$5,000 per transaction, and a payout to a Payoneer account takes up to two business days (Fiverr payout methods, checked 29 October 2026).
Fiverr also lists PayPal as a payout method, but PayPal’s list of countries and regions does not include Pakistan. Wise is not a workaround either: Wise lists Pakistan among the places where you cannot get USD account details. That leaves a marketplace’s own bank option or Payoneer.
Receive USD from clients: Payoneer
Wise does not offer USD account details to residents of Pakistan (Wise Help Centre, checked October 2026). Payoneer offers USD receiving accounts and withdrawals in PKR to a local bank account. Check current fees on Payoneer's website.
Open a Payoneer account →AdCan you earn from YouTube or Cambly in Pakistan?
YouTube Partner Program. Pakistan is on YouTube’s list of countries and regions where creators can join. The thresholds are 1,000 subscribers plus either 4,000 qualified watch hours in the last 12 months or 10 million qualified Shorts views in the last 90 days, and you need an active AdSense account linked to the channel or be ready to set one up in YouTube Studio (YouTube Help, checked 29 October 2026). Meeting a threshold does not guarantee acceptance, because the channel is also reviewed.
Cambly. Cambly describes its tutors as native English speakers, so it suits applicants from Pakistan only if English is their native language. It pays US$0.17 per minute of conversation (US$10.20 an hour) and US$0.20 per minute for Cambly Kids (Cambly Support, checked 29 October 2026). Cambly says PayPal is being phased out: from 11 November 2026 PayPal payouts move from weekly to every 2 weeks, and Stripe keeps weekly payouts (Cambly payment options).
If you want to teach a language you speak natively, compare Preply: its tutor page says you choose your own hourly rate and can change it at any time. Check its tutor requirements and payout terms for Pakistan before you apply.
Which wallets receive money in Pakistan: JazzCash or Easypaisa?
Neither is an earning app. Both are PKR wallets for receiving and spending money, and both say they can receive money from abroad.
| Wallet | International payments | Limits | Source |
|---|---|---|---|
| JazzCash Freelance Digital Account | Receives international freelance payments directly into the wallet | Rs 1,400,000 (Asaan Digital Rs 1,000,000; Level 2 Rs 5,000,000) | JazzCash |
| Easypaisa | Receives remittances from the UK, US, Australia and others; cannot be used to make international payments | Depend on your account level | Easypaisa FAQs |
Checked 29 October 2026.
JazzCash also lists an Asaan Digital Remittance Account with a Rs 3,000,000 limit, and Easypaisa says most transactions are free of charge while certain ones carry fees, so read the fee table for the transaction you plan to make. Use a wallet for local payments, for paying for online services and for receiving remittances from relatives or clients abroad. For dollars from foreign clients, the routes above (a marketplace’s bank option or Payoneer) come first; a wallet is the place the PKR can end up afterwards.
What does PSEB registration cost, and which tax rate applies?
The Pakistan Software Export Board runs a freelancer programme through its portal, Tech Destination. It is not an earning app. The Freelance Program page shows no fee amounts (checked 5 November 2026) and says registration and renewal charges can be paid only through the PSEB portal’s payment gateway. The documents it asks for are a personal NTN (with no business name), your CNIC (both sides) and a personal bank account letter or certificate. Fees are accepted only through the payment gateway built into the portal, so treat a request to pay any other way as a red flag.
On tax, the PSEB membership benefits page says registered companies pay 0.25% tax on export proceeds of IT and IT-enabled services, against 1% for non-registered companies. It states this for companies, not for individual freelancers, so ask a tax adviser how registration affects your own rate.
The tax rules that apply to your earnings are set by the tax authority and change with each federal budget, so check the current rules with the Federal Board of Revenue before you file, and keep records of every payment you receive.
Which often-listed options do not fit people in Pakistan?
Six options come up on most lists and could not be confirmed as open to people in Pakistan on 29 October 2026.
- OnlineJobs.ph excludes Pakistan. Its jobseeker FAQ says “we only allow Philippine nationals/citizens to use the site as workers.”
- Cambly needs native English speakers (see the section on YouTube and Cambly above).
- TikTok Creator Rewards requires creators to be at least 18, with 10,000 followers and 100,000 views in the last 30 days, and a personal account “where the program is available” (TikTok Newsroom, March 2024). It does not say whether that includes Pakistan. Brand deals and affiliate links remain open to any creator.
- Daraz affiliate programme. We could not confirm the current terms for Pakistan. Daraz’s published affiliate agreement for Nepal says commission is paid “at such rates as shall be specified in writing”. Check that the programme is open to you before you build around it.
- Workana is a freelance marketplace. It takes 20% of the first US$300 paid by a client, 10% from US$301 to US$3,000 and 5% above that (Workana Help, checked 29 October 2026). We found no statement about freelancers living in Pakistan.
- Foap describes paid briefs from brands on its creators page, and says creators can work with brands “regardless of your location”, but it does not name countries or payout methods, so check how it would pay you in Pakistan.
How much does it cost to move money into Pakistan?
The World Bank puts the average cost of an inbound transfer to Pakistan at 2.14% of the amount sent (2023 figure, measured on a US$200 remittance; indicator SI.RMT.COST.IB.ZS, read from the World Bank API on 29 October 2026). Applied to a US$1,000 client payment at that 29 October 2026 reading, that is about US$21.40, leaving US$978.60. This is a remittance average, not a platform fee: banks and cash-transfer operators sit at the expensive end, and services built for freelancers price differently, so check the actual fee before you send.
Compare it with the fixed fees listed on the platforms on 29 October 2026: US$0.99 per Upwork withdrawal, US$1 for a Fiverr bank transfer through Payoneer (minimum US$20) and US$3 for a Fiverr payout to a Payoneer account (minimum US$10). Payoneer may add its own fees, so check them on Payoneer’s website. Fixed fees hurt small payouts most and barely matter on large ones, which is why the minimum withdrawal matters as much as the fee.
How do you start earning online in Pakistan in 30 days?
Week 1: setup. Choose one platform from this guide that matches your skill. Open a JazzCash or Easypaisa account for local payments. If you plan to export IT services full-time, read the PSEB registration steps above.
Week 2: profile and portfolio. Complete your platform profile and build 3 to 5 portfolio samples. If you have a skill gap, a UdemyAd course in your niche can help: the certificate carries little weight with clients, but the project files you build during the course can go straight into your portfolio. Write a short “About” section that says what you deliver and which time zones you can work in.
Week 3: applications. Apply to jobs that match your samples, personalise each proposal and track the responses.
Week 4: first earnings. Complete small jobs to build reviews and write each one up as a case study. Before you withdraw, check the platform’s clearance period and its withdrawal options for Pakistan.
How do you spot earning scams in Pakistan?
Earning platforms do not charge you to join, and no legitimate app guarantees a daily income. Treat these as red flags:
- “Pay 500 PKR to start earning”. Official registrations such as PSEB have published fees paid only through their own portal; an app that asks for money before you can earn is a warning sign.
- Pay-per-click and crypto-mining apps promising fixed daily income are not a basis for planning your income.
- “Personal information for verification”. Legitimate platforms do not ask for an ATM PIN, a bank password or a CNIC photo by email or chat.
- WhatsApp recruiters from a “Dubai company”. Treat unsolicited offers as possible phishing or money-mule recruitment.
- “Fixed return” investment schemes. Guaranteed returns are the standard description of a Ponzi scheme; do not hand over money to someone who promises them.
If an offer matches any of these, stop and check the platform on its own official website before you share a document, a code or any money.
